Prince concert is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I say blow work and go... would they fire you for one offense? Maybe, if they're uptight. But then you could call Prince (or mail him or something) and tell him the situation, and he could try to get your job back for you, and then you'll be in national news... or maybe not.
